Greentrac™ is an enterprise grade PC energy consumption monitoring, environmental impact analysis and management platform. The Greentrac solution allows organisations to quickly identify energy inefficiencies and best practices. Greentrac is designed to engage and empower the end users in making changes that contribute to improved sustainability outcomes and at the same time it provides customisable rules based controls to support organisational management of the PC workstation fleet.

Greentrac delivers savings on two distinct levels: at the level of the device consuming energy and also at the level of the user of the device.
At the PC workstations and peripherals device level – Greentrac provides a framework and platform to minimise the waste of energy associated with “idle” state of devices (“on” but not actively “in use”) without impacting the user. The management and rectification of power waste is automatic and yet customisable at a granular level – avoiding many of the issues associated with power “shutdown” products.

At the user and group level – Greentrac acts as a catalyst and continuous feedback mechanism to maximise user involvement and responsibility for energy savings, which by definition would be the most reliable means of saving energy – without the traditional wearing off effects of a short-lived “fad”. The saving of energy during business (usually “peak”) hours resulting from changes to user behaviour is one of the unique aspects of Greentrac.
